Add the possibility to disable auto-collection on printers#610

As of now, when you raid a base and find a printer in there, most of the time there is no security upgrade on it, making it impossible to disable auto-collection, therefore even if you steal the printer, the money keeps going to the owner. However, if the printer has a security upgrade (which costs money), you can hack it and that automatically disables the auto-collection, so you can keep all the money. It is a total non-sense that a “security” upgrade, which costs additional money, makes you more vulnerable than having none. There should be an option to disable auto-collection on unsecured printers as well, because everyone know about this and never buy the upgrade.

Or just make it so all spawned printers already have security upgrade

Let’s think about this from everyone elses view except the thiefs POV, the only way for someone to currently get back their printer if it had security upgrade is 1. Relog, 2. Have it destroyed somehow, 3. Raid and take it back.

Thiefs would ultimately abuse this power and take every printer in the server and people not being able to get them back other then to raid them which in this case if a thief is getting away with something like this than their base has to be something else. It would in the end piss people off, let alone someone actually being succesful in a raid on a base that had everyone else’s printers they would all need to be destroyed because it would just be abuse upon abuse.

No one else would play any other job except thief and there is a large quantity of people that can play thief but it’s not unlimited, so if regular thief spots get taken up people would be forced to buy ranks just to be thief causing absolute chaos. That right there is the true “non-sense”.

You can just switch jobs to get your printers destroyed. :)

If you want it to be more RP like then that isn’t the way, also that is FRP in a sense but it’s not against the rules for good reason but still in a sense FRP
